NORO Haunui #23 Rotorua

NORO Haunui is spun from a unique merino wool from the Haunui crossbreed sheep from the Taranui farm in New Zealand. It is a two-ply yarn, spun to give the impression of being single-ply, but without the disadvantages of single-ply yarn. Despite its thickness, the yarn is super soft!

No two sheep have exactly the same color, but their wool falls within different color categories and is blended to create rich shades of oat beige, brown, grey, and black. Perfect yarn for sweaters and cardigans with a touch of luxury.

NORO has its own patterns for this yarn. Available for purchase on Ravelry, see also pictures here. The yarn can, of course, also be used for other garments with similar gauge.

100% Haunui wool

14-16 stitches/10 cm, needles 4.5 - 5 mm
